But with the demand for ever-greater connectivity, that will be the next step. Just a few more updates, and the Road Captain\u2019s machine will set up a Wi-Fi network and check the battery levels of the illuminated valve caps across the entire travel group every second. AI navigation systems will book the cheapest lodging closest to the cheapest gas station and, upon request, reserve a table for your Tinder match. The emotions involved in riding a motorcycle will once again be the subject of heated debate&nbsp;\u2013 and, of course, I, as a \u201crose-colored\u201d electric motorcycle rider, will be dismissed. People will once again ride their \u20ac25,000-plus bikes to motorcycle shows and get upset over a \u20ac7 parking fee. Questions like which motorcycles \u201creal\u201d motorcyclists ride, or whether an 800-kilometer day trip is too short, will still have no satisfactory answers in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And even in 2026, no one will be able to ride a motorcycle \u201cproperly\u201d&nbsp;\u2013 except for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I didn&#8217;t make any New Year&#8217;s resolutions on New Year&#8217;s Eve 2025 either, so I&#8217;m going to actively ignore them. And before the next chapter of my motorcycle life begins, my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorprosa.com\/en\/ducati-748s-character\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"8605\">Ducati<\/a> and my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorprosa.com\/en\/harley-davidson-road-king\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"11542\">Harley<\/a> will still be fighting over the battery charger for a few more weeks \u2013 the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorprosa.com\/en\/zero-sr-f-the-electric-way-of-drive\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"8078\">Zero<\/a>, in its electric hibernation, won\u2019t notice a thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But then there are beloved and yet-to-be-discovered <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorprosa.com\/en\/category\/dream-roads\/\" data-type=\"category\" data-id=\"536\">dream roads<\/a> just waiting to be portrayed in pictures and words. The scuffs on my leather yearn for asphalt, and my sore shoulder craves pain-relieving creams after every ride. Minor modifications and several stages of two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorprosa.com\/en\/category\/on-the-road\/\" data-type=\"category\" data-id=\"539\">themed trips<\/a> are on the calendar.
